The team

The People, Services and Delivery group is a newly refreshed team supporting the organisation with services including HR, Finance, Procurement, Information Management, Operations, Risk & Assurance. We are collaborative, aspirational, and connected by our firm focus on supporting people to shape the future of New Zealand’s law. The role

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant for our Access & Digital Strategy, and System & Stewardship Groups. You’ll support our Deputy Chief Executive Access & Digital Strategy, and Deputy Chief Parliamentary Counsel System & Stewardship, anticipating their needs and providing proactive executive level support to them and their management team as required.

You will be someone who:

  • is a trusted ‘right-hand’ in a friendly and collaborative team
  • builds and maintains relationships with team members and key stakeholders
  • enjoys being busy, anticipating needs, and proactively getting things done
  • manages competing priorities, including inboxes and calendars, with ease
  • identifies opportunities to enhance systems and processes to improve your and the team’s work
  • can understand the PCO’s Information Management and Public Records Act responsibilities and ensure that electronic and physical information is filed and managed appropriately
  • has broad financial processing experience
  • has experience managing facility maintenance projects, including co-ordinating and managing tradespeople and suppliers so that works are completed to the required standard and within agreed timeframes and budgets
  • has presentation and formatting experience with Word, PowerPoint and Intranet
  • supports other EAs in the team as required
  • positively contributes to organisational culture.
