The team

The People, Services and Delivery group is a newly refreshed team supporting the organisation with services including HR, Finance, Procurement, Information Management, Operations, Risk & Assurance. The role

The Internal Communications Senior Advisor is a hands-on operational and strategic role sitting within our newly created Knowledge & Information function. It supports the delivery of effective internal communications to help build a well-informed and highly engaged staff culture across the PCO.

Importantly, you will be responsible for designing, developing and curating a new internal communications approach, including the use of a modern intranet for the PCO. We are looking for someone who is excited and passionate about developing and improving internal communications channels for the business utilising an Office 365 environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present clear and concise professional communications to a range of audiences.
  • strong communications planning experience combined with demonstrable capability to manage a range of traditional and digital channels successfully
  • experience in developing and delivering a programme of work
  • the ability to work independently as well as a strong team player who is willing to help and support others
  • ideally, some digital design and advanced content creation skills.

You will be highly motivated and have strong knowledge and experience in delivering excellent, clear communications within an online environment. A deep understanding of intranets and user needs is important.
