The work we do is challenging, diverse, and integral to the lives of New Zealanders. There’s no other place like it.

The team

The People, Services and Delivery group is a newly refreshed team supporting the organisation with services including HR, Finance, Procurement, Information Management, Operations, Risk & Assurance. We are collaborative, aspirational, and connected by our firm focus on supporting people to shape the future of New Zealand’s law. This is a broad-reaching role which focuses on the stewardship and delivery of the PCO’s knowledge and content management function. You will need to be comfortable in a “hands-on” position with one direct report, who will be primarily responsible for supporting internal communication and intranet management. Whilst acting as the champion for all things IM, you will also be our PRA guardian.

As the right candidate you will bring:

  • an inspiring, positive attitude with a desire to improve an essential business function/create a modern Information Management function
  • exemplary, senior stakeholder management skills and a character to influence others with an excellent guiding and mentoring style
  • experience of both old & new knowledge and information management services and systems including physical library collections
  • a high-level perspective of IM whilst being unafraid to roll your sleeves up when necessary
  • a keen eye for process and system diligence.

If you like a challenge, are ready to add your expertise to a critical Government organisation, are passionate about electronic and physical information, and perhaps looking to step up to the Knowledge Leader role, then we would like to hear from you.

Our culture

Located across the road from Parliament, PCO offers you a fascinating insight into Aotearoa’s legislation.

Our workplace encourages ambition and high performance - where diversity is welcomed, and where you can be rewarded with the satisfaction of delivering. Our small size allows you to be exposed to broad opportunities and grow your skills along the way.
