The team

The People, Services and Delivery group is a newly refreshed team supporting the organisation with services including HR, Finance, Procurement, Information Management, Operations, Risk & Assurance. We are collaborative, aspirational, and connected by our firm focus on supporting people to shape the future of New Zealand’s law. The role

Reporting directly into the DCE, the Principal Advisor – Organisational Strategy & Performance is responsible for supporting the leadership team to define and drive the PCO’s work programme.

The Principal Advisor – Organisational Strategy & Performance will be a trusted advisor to ELT, bringing proven experience in:

  • delivery in government: business planning, strategic intentions, annual reporting, estimates, cabinet papers, briefings for Minister, budget requests, and policy development
  • facilitating the establishment and delivery of organisational governance frameworks
  • delivery of projects
  • building strong partnering-focused relationships, including excellent communication and relationship & stakeholder management skills
  • applying positive influence to facilitate delivery from others to achieve centralised reporting requirements

You’ll be someone who proactively owns and drives the timely delivery of quality business-focused outcomes. You’ll also be someone who helps to build a strong team culture, where mutual support and success is championed.
